Communication to our Patients

Dear Patients, we have listened to your concerns relating to access to our Practice services and we are making some changes to our systems that we hope will improve the patient experience.
From 6th January 2025 we will be removing our current clinical triage system in the mornings. Our team will accept requests for appointments throughout the day but as the availability of urgent appointments continues to be limited it is still very important that if you feel you need a same day appointment that you contact us as early as possible. Unfortunately once all the available appointments are gone we will redirect to alternative options as we currently do.
Routine appointment slots will be released on a twice weekly basis.
Our Reception team will continue to ask you for some information relating to your problem so they can navigate you to the most appropriate service or clinician and we are grateful of your support in this regard.
Removing the triage will allow an increase in the number of appointments available. However, we will still be working within the constraints of the clinical team available and we are in the winter pressure period so we value your patience and understanding.
We will also be reviewing and evaluating our new system so we can assess how it is working, we would be very grateful of your support in this regard. We will update you in the coming months on how you can help us with this.
